I guess it’s the mark-making process and seeing something emerge from a blank canvas or page. Losing myself within my own universe! Absolute dream project? To work on a selection of paintings to be exhibited at the Tate Modern Quality you admire most in an individual? Ah there are so many - theres just one? Caring. When someone selflessly cares for another, I admire that. Biggest inspiration in the creative industry? Can I list a few? Beryl Cook, Tim Burton, Missy the cat, Monet, obviously, Gustov Klimt, Sam Duffy, Mondigliani One to watch in the creative industry? It’s probably really bad not to have fresh names to mind but in honesty don’t know. Diplomatically, I am going to have to say that all the creatives in Nottingham are rather exciting. What could the world happily do without? Nasty nasties! What could you not live without? I’m gonna say oxygen. Biggest risk you’ve ever taken? (holds breath) 1..2..3..4..5..6…7….8……9……10 “gasp! That one?!” Lesson in life? Always and everyday. If you could buy any creative work in the World, what would it be? It would have to be an original klimt. I would paint a room white, have nothing in it other than that painting and a cushion to sit and bathe in the serenity |
